At Howell’s, we understand that no other single system in your home plays a larger role in your comfort or how much your utility bill will be than your heating & AC system. That’s why we specialize in cost-effective high-efficiency solutions, including natural gas, propane and oil furnaces and heat pumps. We have the expertise to provide you with alternative HVAC and home energy systems including geothermal and solar systems. We also install whole house generators.
Of course, if you are happy with the system you already have, we offer routine maintenance agreements that can help extend its useful life.
Our Service Department is committed to providing our customers with uninterrupted service availability. This is achieved by a team of service coordinators and NATE certified technicians. Our fleet is computer equipped and fully stocked.
Our service technicians are highly trained and true professionals in their field. All of our technicians have been NATE Certified, EPA approved and certified to handle refrigerants. We take advantage of product training schools, HVAC seminars, and manufacturer instructional programs year round, to stay fresh on technological advancements in the industry and to bring you the highest level of service we can.
No inconvenient 4 hour arrival window time frames with Howell's. When you schedule a service call, we will provide an exact time of day you can expect our technician to arrive. Our clients are notified a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time if their technician is running early or late.
At Howell's, we have a System Replacement Department that deals exclusively with residential HVAC system replacements or retrofits. The department consists of three sales engineers, a contract administrator, one field supervisor, and five complete installation crews who specialize in replacing existing systems. Our installation crews are well trained and supervised to be able to adjust to the unique challenges that each project presents.
The specialization of the replacement & retrofit department has allowed us to greatly improve our service to those customers who need new systems in occupied structures. We are able to complete our work in a timely fashion with minimal interruption to your home or business lifestyle.
When the power goes out, keep your cool with Howells’ permanently installed back-up generators. At the first sign of an outage, our natural gas or liquid propane generators automatically deliver power directly to your home’s electrical system. With no extension cords or manual start necessary, our reliable generators quickly deliver power throughout your whole house or to just the bare essentials. For more information on our whole or partial house generators, give us a call at 804.715.1995.
